In celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, our nurseries have learned about Irish traditions and culture, played Irish music, explored lots of green activities, made our own leprechauns and we even enjoyed an Irish Stew and Colcannon!
Learning about topics like Saint Patrick’s Day encourages the children to expand their knowledge of the world around them. It helps them to understand and embrace the values, beliefs and traditions of other people and make links to their own lives.
